The team consists of highly trained staff nurses and charge nurses, specialists, consultants, and allied health staff, including respiratory care, dietetics, wound care and pharmacy, within the department. We also work with other departments, including infection control, laboratory and radiology.

Patients are admitted through the Emergency Department, or can be transferred from a medical unit or surgical units.
